Having only lived in Brisbane for a little over three months we thought that this weekend we needed to get out and explore a bit more of the surrounded area. This this morning we decided to make the trip to the
Eumundi markets and stop off for a swim at a beach on the way back.
Well I can now see why everyone said DON'T go on a Saturday. These markets were amazing they go on for ages, so many stalls that it is hard to choose what to look at but so many people! Being a Sydney girl I thought that crowds would not faze me but perhaps I am losing my edge? We were somewhat puzzled also by the lack of a Turkish
Gozleme stall, doesn't every good market have at least one?
So after having our fill of the markets (including home made lemonade, German sausages and rocky road...no wonder i am feeling queasy) we headed towards the coast to catch some waves. Having packed the beach tote with all things
beachy we were well prepared for an afternoon of sun and surf. We headed down to
Coollum to put a toe in only to find that our perfectly packed tote with, suncream, towels and swim suits was sitting neatly back in the kitchen where we had left it at home. Damn!!!
Anyway it has been a busy week for
PretaPawte with three more new dog collar designs have been added to the collection. And we have a new website (
